We have upgraded the IremboGov platform to enhance your experience

The journey towards delivering seamless access to services starts with listening to you, our users.

Guided by your valuable feedback, we are progressively upgrading the IremboGov platform to meet your needs better, making it simpler, faster, and more intuitive to access government services.

We have introduced various improvements to help all citizens and businesses search for service statuses, apply for and manage service applications, and track certificates and documents online.

Service migration between the current and upgraded IremboGov

In the coming months, services on the current version of IremboGov (irembo.gov.rw) will gradually be moved to the upgraded one (new.irembo.gov.rw).

The migration will happen in phases to ensure uninterrupted access, with groups of services being moved together. During this time, both versions of IremboGov will remain available, and we have built features and set up clear guidance to help you navigate between them until the upgraded IremboGov becomes the main version for all government services.

We will keep you updated throughout this process.The upgraded IremboGov platform currently features three services from IPOSITA: registration, renewal, and updating an e-P.O Box address.

As a user, the ePoBox offers you a secure and convenient way to access your deliveries by storing your addresses digitally and more reliably as opposed to a physical box at the postal office. As a business, it simplifies your logistics and postal operations through a scalable and reliable solution, enhancing efficiency and improving customer service.

What to expect from the Upgraded IremboGov

A more user-friendly interface and an improved user experience.

We have redesigned the platform’s interface, making it simpler and more intuitive.

  • Unified access to personal and business services: If you own or represent a business, the upgraded IremboGov enables you to add businesses to your account using the business TIN. This feature provides direct access to government services designed specifically for businesses, allowing you to manage personal and business needs efficiently within a single portal. This streamlined approach simplifies account management and ensures an organised, time-saving experience.
  • Access to and reuse of previous certificates: You no longer need to download and scan documents to reuse them. The upgraded IremboGov allows you to upload once and reuse documents for future applications. You can also access and attach previously approved certificates directly from your account, saving time and simplifying the process.

Enhanced security and convenience.
Ensuring the security of personal information and our platform is at the core of our service. To achieve this, we’ve implemented robust measures to protect user data and empower users with more control over how their information is securely managed.

  • Account security and convenience: You can now verify your identity directly in your account, keeping your personal information secure and accessible only to you. This means you won’t have to re-enter your National ID details every time you apply for a service, thereby saving you time and enhancing your experience.
  • Registering an email address: You can now add an email address to your account. Linking your email provides easy access to password recovery and ensures you receive important updates directly in your inbox. Once added, your email will be securely stored in your account, so you won’t need to re-enter it when applying for services.
