Victoria Falls, Thursday 27th April 2023 – Irembo, the leading digital services partner of the Government of Rwanda, is proud to announce its membership in the Smart Africa Alliance. The alliance is a groundbreaking commitment from African Heads of State and Governments to drive sustainable socio-economic development on the continent by increasing access to broadband and utilizing information and communication technologies (ICT).
Irembo’s decision to join the Smart Africa Alliance reflects its dedication to contributing to the development of the digital economy in Africa. As a member of the alliance, Irembo will have the opportunity to collaborate with other stakeholders on the continent to capitalize on the various opportunities available in the African market. Additionally, Irembo will contribute to ongoing projects’ success and foster innovation and digital transformation in Africa, as well as participate in policy and governance discussions with different Smart Africa Alliance members from across the continent.
