On Sunday, the 19th of November 2023, Byikorere was part of Kigali Car Free Day.
We have been honored to have the Minister of ICT, The Lord Mayor of Kigali, the Commissioner of IT in Police, and the citizens at large. The sports activities started at BK Arena and ended at Kigali Height, where we got a chance to talk about Byikorere with citizens. The Car Free day was a great success with an impressive turnout, even in the rain.
The Lord Mayor shared his gratitude to Irembo for the work done with the Byikorere campaign and emphasized that together with the citizens of Kigali, we should increase the self-application from 42–100% in the future. Minister Paola reminded everyone that the Ministry, Irembo, CoK, and RISA’s digital ambassadors are very ready to support everyone in this Byikorere journey.
